After having a rather lengthy conversation with a not so eco-conscious friend I was overrun with feelings of accomplishment. The feelings arose due to my latest eco-friendly purchase of the studfinder professional made through my iPhone for a mere $1.99. This purchase was for a totally green and eco-friendly stud finder that locates beams behind sheet-rock or metal in wood so I could hang pictures. An iPhone application that is totally green and eco-friendly! Awesome; I know!

The conversation came about when I learned that my friend had recently paid $39.00 for his completely earth desecrating Stud-Finding device made from molded plastics, small metals and tons of other non-recyclable, non-biodegradable and non-reusable materials. Normal hand held stud finders are made of complicated plastics with intricate wiring and small metal innards, most of which are not recyclable and non-eco-friendly. Not to mention that most are only good for one or two applications if your lucky integrated with a level and a laser at times; which further adds to the list of non-recyclable and non-eco-friendly materials.

Just telling my not so green friend about the purchase I had made while watching him use his “proton nuclear retractor device” to locate a beam, and level to hang a picture. This made him envy me and my cell phone carrier. I waited until he was finished and further demonstrated how I could use my iPhone and only paid $1.99 for my studfinder professional.

He learned that well known brand name Stud-finders are not so economically priced if you already own an iPhone. Also they are not as environmentally friendly to the earth and our surroundings as the studfinder professional because of all the molded plastics, polypropylene resins, wires and metals that go into the “guts” of the normal stud finder and levels. The studfinder professional is state of the art and totally environmentally green. It is even recyclable! Because the iPhone itself is recyclable.

The studfinder professional is a practical application for everyone and anyone who has the iPhone. Its totally economically priced and environmentally sound! The phone can locate studs, tell me when something is level, process credit cards, and even tell me if I have had to much too drink; parodicaly of course. Plus if I really need to I could just use it to call a contractor. This thing is great!

I am actually writing this review from my iPhone! Get the studfinder professional is completely worth it and you are being environmentally conscious simultaneously. I really bought something and got the best of both worlds which goes back to my purchase and the feelings of accomplishment it bought about!
