Running for me has become a way of life. Everyday, no matter how I feel and despite my mood I find there is one thing I can always rely on, the simple fact that a run will always, without a doubt, make me feel even better, mentally and physically. When you get out there, whether it’s on the road, on trails, or wherever else may you choose, you find yourself transported to some other world. This new world completely revolves around you, your body and the nature around you, that’s it. This world with zero complications, simply you and your shoes is just what you need. On a run you can think with a clear mind and find solutions to problems you thought you’d never solve. Running can bring order to a world that is quickly becoming too confusing for you to control. For me, running provides the opportunity to challenge my body and to push myself past the highest of limits. I’ve been running for almost fifteen years and I can’t imagine it not being part of my life. I eat healthier now then I have in the past and I’ve been the same slim weight for as long as I can even remember. I wake up knowing that for every mile I run I’m healthier as a result of it, I’m in great shape because of it and most importantly I’m happier because of it.
