Editorial Review

Pioneers in the exclusive bamboo massage, Broadway Spa compliments their unique assortment of services with an elegant and inviting atmosphere that makes the surrounding environment part of the massage. You walk into a candle-lit, aromatic room, pagoda style chimes and East Asian décor immediately drift you away to a new world. Already your tense back starts to loosen up as you prepare to be pampered. But this isn't a typical massage, this is a premier technique exclusively offered by Broadway Spa where you'll be kneaded by firm, smooth Bamboo shoots soaked in essential oils. Rolling and sliding over your back, legs, and feet, you'll feel the Bamboo work through your tension, while acupressure-style tapping with the ends of the shoots will relax and refresh your body in a way few massages can.

Owner Fabien Azoulay's relaxed demeanor and striking complexion should immediately instill confidence that he is well qualified to have you both looking and feeling fabulous when you walk out his doors. But it's more than just his intricate knowledge of the business, he's created an atmosphere that becomes a large part of the experience. Each of their services is perfectly complimented by a unique room that fits the theme of the treatment. Besides the bamboo massages being set in a distinctly East Asian room, Thai massage is done on a low, flat mattress that brings its own Asian style. Hot stone massages are given in a clay colored, earthy feeling room, while couples massages are done in a romantic, mirrored room—complete with skylights and sheer drapery. What better environment to share a relaxing and sensuous afternoon with your loved one than in a massage room reminiscent of a giant canopy bed? Medical spa treatments and laser hair removal are accordingly done in a clean, white, professional—almost clinical setting.

Broadway Spa welcomes all clients, understanding the needs of women while providing a friendly unisex feel for the growing number of meterosexual males. Single clients will find showers available and ample privacy in an interior design that is versatile in providing seclusion, but can be opened for larger groups. The open space and cathedral ceilings over the nail and hair area lend perfectly to these group events. Bachelorette parties, corporate events, post gallery parties, and private parties ranging from 12 to 25 people will enjoy looking down from the catwalk to chat with their friends.

Despite their positioning on the cutting edge of treatments, Broadway Spa still maintains relatively affordable pricing. Hour long massages range from $80 for Swedish to $116 for their Honey H2 Massage. Facials range in length and type, but run an average of $80 for an hour. It's definitely worth it to check with them regularly, as they consistently update their special offers. Broadway Spa's assortment of unique services coupled with an elegant and inviting atmosphere gives them universal appeal to those that want to pampered, beautified, or just need to chill out.
